So for my scottish guests, securing a wedding dress works differently in Singapore. Rather than buying our own dress (which I probably will never wear again), we rent it. In Singapore the quality of dresses are comparable to dresses that are bought, and it comes out to be cheaper!

Total was only SGD$3,100 (£1,550)

I bought an simple white dress for SGD$50 (£25) for dancing as well. Thank god my tartan shawn goes with anything! Most gowns are too heavy! On my Wedding day I am so gona bust some moves! YEAHHHH!

I went to try on my dresses in December, and honestly I must have been the most clueless bride-to-be ever! Thank god my bridal consultant, Gemma was so helpful! Honestly she has one of the most adorable personalities!

When I was clueless and shy at first, and tried a tonnes of dresses and wasn't happy with it, she said,

You shouldn't be shy, especially around me. Show me your character and who you are, so I can find the perfect dress for you!

So of course i tried to loosen up. I am not used to having so much attention on what I'm wearing!

Then later she asked me,

Ok Ok, let me ask you 2 questions....

1. Audrey Hepburn or Marilyn Manroe?

2. Hippy or Bohemian?

When I have her my answers (Marilyn & Bohemian), she took out the MOST BEAUTIFUL DRESS I HAVE EVER SEEN AHHHHHHHHHH.

But there was one problem. I DIDN'T FIT IT. OMG I ALMOST KILLED MYSELF.

Thankfully the tailor was around and did some checks. Turns out it is possible to be altered!

But to be safe I decided I better lose some weight for my big day.

I chose other dresses for photoshoot at the same time too! I will upload the pictures on this blog when it's done! My photoshoot is on the 21st of March.. still ages away!
